Origin Story - Emily in the Elevator: Argus, the adorable Labradoodle

As you read Emily in the Elevator, you meet Chris Anderson, Jr.’s dog, Argus. He is Chris’s companion and friend. He has been in Chris’s life for 2 years. They have a special bond, and we learn why he is so important to Chris as the story progresses. Argus is a chocolate Labradoodle and is smart, listening to Chris’s every word. In many ways, the fictional character Argus is a compilation of our Labradoodle, Cocoa (left), and our Standard Poodle, Dakota (right). Argus’s personality is a blend of both of their characters.

Cocoa traveled over the rainbow bridge 7 years ago. Dakota has been a part of our family for 6 years.
